God's Word In My Mouth
The power of God's word in our mouth is profound and multifaceted, impacting both our lives and the world around us in significant ways:
In summary, the power of God's word in our mouth is unparalleled, bringing about transformation, healing, deliverance, and restoration wherever it is spoken in faith and alignment with His will. As we yield our mouths to Him and allow His word to dwell richly within us, we become vessels of His power and instruments of His kingdom on earth. |

be no hinderance.

for I will give you utterance and wisdom which none of your opponents will be
able to resist or refute.
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall
not be able to gainsay nor resist.A mouth -
Eloquence, ability to speak as the case may demand. Compare Exodus 4:11. Gainsay

Speak against. They will not be able to "reply" to it, or to "resist" the force
of what you shall say.
Jeremiah 5:14
Therefore, thus says the Lord, the God of hosts,
“Because you have spoken this word,
Behold, I am making My words in your mouth fire
And this people wood, and it will consume them.
The “wherefore” of this verse relates to the false prophecies of the false
prophets in the (previous verse). Because these false prophets
were speaking lies, the Lord would take the true word coming out of Jeremiah’s
mouth and make it like a fire that would burn up all their false prophecies.
Compare with Jeremiah 23:29.
Numbers 23:5
Then Yahweh put a word in Balaam’s mouth and said, “Return to Balak, and you
shall speak thus.”

We are God possessed (Colossians 1:27). The Holy Spirit is always
available and desiring to instruct us.
Matthew 10:20
For it is not you who speak, but it is the [Holy] Spirit of your [Heavenly]
Father who speaks in you.
Jesus promises that the Holy Spirit will give them the appropriate words
to speak. Matthew has mentioned
the Holy Spirit in connection with Jesus’ ministry (Matt 1:18, 20; 3:11, 16;
4:1), and here the Spirit is extended
to the ministry of the disciples which includes any believer.
Mark 13:11
When they arrest you and hand you over, [or any bad situation] do not worry
beforehand about what you are to say,

lift up the Son of man, then you will know that I am He, and I do
nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me.
Ref Note
John 12:49
For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has
given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak.
Jesus had said this same thing before (John 3:32; 5:30; 8:26, and 42) and
would say it again (John 14:10, 15:15, and 17:8).
John 14:10
Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me?
The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father

Jeremiah 23:22
“But if they had stood in My council,
Then they would have announced My words to My people,
And would have turned them back from their evil way
And from the evil of their deeds.
Ministers have tremendous influence. When we speak the true word that God
has given, it will turn people’s hearts from evil. Lord, help me to only speak
Your words.

When the Lord sends us, He also equips us.
It would be unjust on the Lord’s part to give us a supernatural assignment and then leave us to our own fleshly abilities to accomplish it.
God will provide (Luke 21:14-15).
The Lord equipped Moses with signs and wonders with miracles.
The Hebrew word YARAH was translated “teach” in this verse, and it means
“properly, to flow as water (i.e. to rain)” (Strong’s Concordance).
This ability to speak would flow out of Moses like water or as rain falling
from the sky.
Jesus is the Word of God (John 1:1 and 14).
When He returns, a sharp two-edged sword will come out of His mouth (Revelation 1:16; 19:15, and 21) and destroy millions of people so that the blood will be up to the horses’ bridles (Revelation 14:20).
I believe that is speaking of Him slaying His enemies with the written Word
that He gave us.
This same powerful Word has been given to us.
God touched my mouth and put His words in it (Jeremiah 1:6-9).
And His words in my mouth are like fire, the people are like wood, and it devours them (Jeremiah 5:14).
But the key ingredient is faith.
None of the power of God’s Word will be released if I don’t mix it with faith (Hebrews 4:2).

But the people wouldn’t allow it.
Mankind had fallen so far that they were terrified of God.
So, the Lord instituted the Old Testament Law to restrain them from the outside
until He could redeem them (Galatians 3:19 and 23-25) and place Himself inside
of them (2 Corinthians 13:5 and Colossians 1:27).
This is very similar to the way many Christians today try to relate to the Lord.
They depend on “clergy” to tell them what the Lord wants them to do instead of having their own personal relationship with the Lord.
That is not what God intended.
Our New Covenant is much better (Hebrews 8:6).
This was the symbol of the bestowal of divine grace and help, by which that
want of eloquence, which the prophet had pleaded as a disqualification, was
removed.
It is used as a substitute for the sacred Tetragrammaton, which is the four-letter name of God in Hebrew1.
Adonai YHWH is often translated as "Lord GOD" or "Sovereign LORD" in the Bible2.
The first use of Adonai appears in Genesis 15:2 where Abram addresses God as
"Adonai YHVH"1

He was just to speak what the Lord told him and let them take it or leave it.
Billy Graham said a turning point in his ministry was when the Lord told him he
wasn’t the Holy Spirit.
His job was not to convict the people but just proclaim the truth. When he
started doing that is when his ministry really took off.
But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them,
Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house. He that heareth ... -
The judicial blindness of which Ezekiel speaks had already fallen upon the
great body of the nation ( Ezekiel 14:4. Compare Revelation 2:7; Revelation
22:11).
In that instance, Jesus even said we should not premeditate on what we are to say.
Luke recorded Jesus saying not to meditate beforehand (Luke 21:14).
Luke went on to record that Jesus said He would give us a mouth and wisdom
that all our adversaries will not be able to gainsay or resist (Luke 21:15).
