Yahweh Said And It Was
Whenever God commanded something it had to take place,
that's all there was to it.
Here are scriptures to prove this.
Genesis 1:3
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Note
Genesis 1:6-7
6
Then God said, “Let there be a expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it
divide the waters from the waters.”
7 Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the
firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so.
Genesis 1:9
Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one
place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. Note
Genesis 1:11
Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed,
and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in
itself, on the earth”; and it was so. Note
Genesis 1:14-16
14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide
the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and
years Note
15 and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on
the earth”; and it was so.
16 Then God made two great luminaries: the greater light to rule the day, and
the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. Note
Genesis 1:20
Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living souls, and let
birds fly above the earth across the face of the luminaries of the heavens.”
And it happend
Genesis 1:24
Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its
kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its
kind”; and it was so.
Genesis 1:26
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let
them have dominion over the fish of the sea,
over the birds of the air, and over
the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the
earth.” Note
Genesis 1:27
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male
and female He created them. Note
Genesis 1:28
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the
earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea,
over the birds of
the air, and over every living thing that moves about on the earth.”
This is just some of what God said and it was. Get the word of God in your spirit and speak what God has already said.
Put God's word in your mouth and let God honor His word for
you.
God spoke everything into existence.
Everything physical that we see was created by words. Words are the parent force
and therefore, the greater force.
Everything physical will respond to words, either positive or negative (Proverbs
18:20-21).
Notice that God created light on the first day of creation.
It wasn’t until the fourth day that He created the sun, moon, and stars (Genesis
1:14-19).
So, there was light for four days before there was a source for that light.
God is awesome!
This might sound like the firmament
divided the oceans and seas from the water vapor in earth’s atmosphere.
But in Genesis 1:14 God created the sun and stars and set them in the firmament.
That clarifies that this firmament was the realm where all the stars exist.
Therefore, there is water out there in the universe beyond the realm of the
stars.
I’m sure heaven has abundance of water, as indicated in Revelation 22:1-2:
“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding
out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the
tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every
month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
The wording of this verse is very
important. If the Lord had just said, “Let there be grass and trees,” then when
they died, there wouldn’t have been any new ones, and the Lord would have had to
create more.
But the original creation started from full-grown trees and grasses with seeds
to continue the creation.
Because of this, the Lord truly rested on the seventh day and has not had to
create since (Genesis 2:2).
Notice that the grasses and trees were brought forth from the earth.
They weren’t just made to grow in the earth but were brought forth from the
earth.
They were already in the earth, and God just spoke for them to come forth.
Compare this with Genesis 1:26 (see my note at that verse).
It appears to me that the Lord thought out everything beforehand, and when He
created the dry land, it was already pregnant with all the animal and plant
creations.
Also notice the way that the Lord spoke all of this into creation. He didn’t
say, “Let there be trees.
Let there be grass.” He specifically spoke of the seed within these creations.
This gave these living things the ability to procreate.
The Lord hasn’t created any grass or trees since the original six-day creation
Genesis 2:2-3 Mark 4:28.
Fifteen Great Covenants of Scripture
1. Solaric (Gen. 1:14-18; 8:22; Ps. 89:34-37; Jer. 31:35-37; 33:19-26). This
covenant was made between God and man. In addition to eternal seasons of
fruitfulness it promised that man would continue forever -- as long as the solar
system endures. In this connection definite promises were made to Noah, David,
and others as seen in scriptures above.
2. Edenic (Gen. 1:26 -- Gen. 3:24). This was made with Adam and Eve before the
fall and was conditional upon obedience (Gen. 2:17). The terms of the covenant
were:
(1) Be fruitful, not sterile (Gen. 1:28).
(2) Multiply, increase human kind (Gen. 1:28).
(3) Replenish the earth with people, as when Lucifer ruled (Gen. 1:28).
(4) Subdue the earth (Gen. 1:28).
(5) Rule all God's works (Gen. 1:28; Ps. 8).
(6) Till the ground and be a partaker of the garden (Gen. 2:15).
(7) Protect your dominion from enemies (Gen. 2:15).
(8) Freely eat of all things except the tree of knowledge (Gen. 1:29-30).
(9) Refrain from eating of the tree of knowledge (Gen. 2:16-17).
(10) Fear the penalty for sin (Gen. 2:17).
3. Adamic (Gen. 3:14-19). This agreement was made with Adam and Eve after the
fall and before the expulsion from the garden. It ushered in the Dispensation of
Conscience. The covenant consisted of two parts:
(1) The fivefold curse on:
A. The serpent (Gen. 3:14,15; Isa. 65:25)
B. Satan (Gen. 3:15; Jn. 12:31; Col. 2:14-17; Heb. 2:14-18)
C. The woman (Gen. 3:16; 1Cor. 11:3; 14:34; 1Tim. 2:11-15)
D. The man (Gen. 3:17-19; Ps. 90:9,10; Rom. 5:12-21)
E. The ground (Gen. 3:17-19; Rom. 8:18-23)
(2) The promise in Gen. 3:15. This included redemption and the removal of the
curse (Rom. 8:18-23; Rev. 22:3).
4. Cainic (Gen. 4:11-15). This was a pledge to Cain of vengeance on anyone who
found him and killed him.
5. Noahic (Gen. 8:20 -- Gen. 9:29). This contract was made with Noah and the
beasts of the field after the flood and ushered in the Dispensation of Human
Government. The terms of the covenant were:
(1) God would not curse the ground or living creatures any more "while the earth
remaineth" (Gen. 8:22; 9:12,16)
(2) Man should replenish the earth forever (Gen. 9:1,12,16).
(3) Man should rule the earth (Gen. 9:2,3).
(4) Animals should be eaten, but not the blood (Gen. 9:3,4)
(5) There should be capital punishment for murderers (Gen. 9:5,6; Num. 35)
(6) The rainbow should be a sign of the covenant (Gen. 9:12-17).
(7) The covenant would be eternal (Gen. 9:12,16).
6. Abrahamic (Gen. 12:1-3). This was made with Abraham after the confusion of
tongues when God saw that it was impossible to deal with the race as a whole. It
ushered in the Dispensation of Promise (Gen. 13:14-18; 15:1-21; 17:4-8;
22:15-18; 26:1-5; 28:3,10-15). The covenant consisted of two parts:
(1) The sevenfold promise:
(A) "I will make of thee a great nation" (Gen. 12:1-3; 13:16; 17:18-20;
24:34,35; Gal. 3)
(B) "Make thy name great" (Gen. 12:1-3; Ex. 2:24,25; 6:3-8)
(C) "Thou shalt be a blessing" (Gen. 12:1-3; Gal. 3:13,14)
(D) "I will bless them that bless thee" (Gen. 12:1-3; Mt. 25:31-46)
(E) "I will bless thee" (Gen. 13:14-18; 15:18-21; Gal. 3)
(F) "I will curse them that curse thee" (Zech. 14; Mt. 25:31-46)
(G) "In thee shall all the nations of the world be blessed" (Dt. 28:8-14; Isa.
60:3-5; 66:18-21; Jn. 8:56-58; Gal. 3:16)
(2) The sign of the covenant: circumcision (Gen. 17:1-21; Isa. 24:5)
7. Hagaric (Gen. 16:7-14). This was a covenant made with Hagar concerning her
seed through Ishmael, Abraham's son. It concerned many generations and was in
three parts:
(1) Commands:
(A) Return, submit to Sarah (Gen. 16:9)
(B) Call her son Ishmael, meaning "God shall hear" (Gen. 16:11)
(2) Promises:
(A) Seed to be multiplied beyond number (Gen. 16:10; 17:20-22)
(B) Ishmael to be blessed and become a great nation (Gen. 17:20; 21:17-18)
(C) Ishmael to beget twelve princes (Gen. 17:20; 25:12-18)
(3) Prophetic revelation:
(A) Ishmael to be a wild man (Gen. 16:12)
(B) His hand to be against every man (Gen. 16:12)
(C) Every man's hand to be against him (Gen. 16:12)
(D) Ishmael to dwell in the presence of his brethren (Gen. 16:12)
8. Sarahic (Gen. 17:15-19; 18:9-15). This covenant was made with Sarah and
promised certain blessings to her and her offspring Isaac for many generations.
It was in two parts:
(1) Commands:
(A) Change her name from Sarai to Sarah, meaning "princess" (Gen. 17:15)
(B) Call her son Isaac (Gen. 17:19)
(2) Promises:
(A) To be blessed with a son (Gen. 17:16-19; 18:10-15)
(B) To be made a mother of nations (Gen. 17:16)
(C) To become a mother of many kings (Gen. 17:16)
(D) Abrahamic covenant to be continued with Isaac (Gen. 17:19)
(E) Abrahamic covenant to be continued with Isaac's seed forever (Gen. 17:19)
9. Healing (Ex. 15:26; 23:25). This was made with Israel and all who desired or
chose to come under the covenant of God as given to Moses. It was in two parts:
(1) Commands:
(A) Diligently hearken to God's voice (Ex. 15:26; Lev. 26:14-15)
(B) Do that which is right in His sight (Ex. 15:26)
(C) Give ear to His commandments (Ex. 15:26)
(D) Keep all His statutes (Ex. 15:26; Lev. 26:3,14-15)
(E) Serve the Lord (Ex. 23:25)
(2) Promises:
(A) "I will put none of these diseases upon thee" (Ex. 15:26)
(B) "I am the Lord that healeth thee" (Ex. 15:26)
(C) "I will take away sickness from the midst of thee" (Ex. 23:25)
This covenant was made a part of the new covenant, for Christ "took our
infirmities and bare our sicknesses" (Isa. 53; Mt. 8:17; 1Pet. 2:24).
10. Mosaic or old covenant; also called the Old Testament (Ex. 20:1 -- Ex. 24:8;
2Cor. 3:6-18). See Eighty-five Old Covenant and New Covenant Contrasts.
11. Levitic (Num. 25:10-14). This was given through Moses to Phinehas, the son
of Levi, who was zealous for the Lord and executed judgment upon rebels (Num.
25:1-9). It consisted of two great promises:
(1) Peace and blessing to Levi's house (Num. 25:12)
(2) An everlasting priesthood (Num. 25:13)
12. Palestinian (Lev. 26; Dt. 11:8-32; 27:1 -- Dt. 30:20). This covenant was
made with Israel through Moses and was conditioned upon the obedience of the
nation. There were seven parts:
(1) Dispersion for disobedience (Dt. 28:63-68; 30:1)
(2) Repentance while in dispersion (Dt. 30:2; Zech. 12:10-14)
(3) The return of the Lord (Dt. 30:3; Zech. 14; Acts 15:14-17)
(4) Restoration in the land (Dt. 30:5; Isa. 11:1-12; Ezek. 37; Mt. 24:31)
(5) National conversion (Dt. 30:6; Isa. 66; Zech. 12:10-13; Rom. 11:26)
(6) Judgment of Israel's oppressors (Dt. 30:7; Zech. 14; Mt. 25:31-46)
(7) National prosperity (Dt. 30:9-10; Rom. 11)
13. Salt (Lev. 2:13; Num. 18:19). A covenant made with Israel concerning the
sacrifices they were to offer forever.
See usage of salt in Mk. 9:49,50; and Col. 4:6. In Palestine and surrounding
countries salt was used in making covenants.
If people dined together on food with salt in it, they became friends, though
they may have been enemies before.
The Arab expression, "There is salt between us," or "He has eaten of my salt,"
means partaking of the hospitality which cements friendship.
Covenants were generally confirmed at sacrificial meals and salt was always
present.
The covenant of salt pictured the everlasting friendship between God and His
people (Num. 18:19).
14. Davidic (2Sam. 7:1-17).
This agreement was made with David and his house through Nathan the prophet, and
was conditioned upon obedience as all other covenants.
It was to be an everlasting covenant, containing seven blessings:
(1) A Davidic house forever (2Sam. 7:13-16; Ps. 89:20-37; Lk. 1:32-35)
(2) A Davidic throne forever (2Sam. 7:12-16; Isa. 9:6,7; Lk. 1:32-35)
(3) A Davidic kingdom forever (2Sam. 7:12-16; Isa. 9:6,7; Lk. 1:32-35)
(4) A sure land for Israel forever (Gen. 17; 2Sam. 7:10)
(5) No more affliction from the nations forever (Dt. 28:1 -- Dt. 30:10; 2Sam.
7:10)
(6) The Fatherly care of God forever (2Sam. 7:14; 2Cor. 6:15-18)
(7) An eternal covenant (2Sam. 7:10-16; Isa. 9:6,7; Lk. 1:32,33)
15. New covenant (Mt. 26:28; 2Cor. 3:6-18). This is the one made by Christ (Heb.
8:6).
It is still in force and includes all the terms, conditions, commands, promises
and benefits revealed in the twenty-seven books of the New Testament.
a [lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and
let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years]
The Sevenfold Purpose of Lights
1. Divide day and night, light and darkness (Gen. 1:14,18)
2. Be for signs (Gen. 1:14)
3. Be for seasons (Gen. 1:14)
4. Be for days (Gen. 1:14)
5. Be for years (Gen. 1:14)
6. Give light on earth (Gen. 1:15,17)
7. Rule day and night eternally (Gen. 1:16,18; 8:22)
Dake's Annotated Reference Bible.
This was the fourth day of creation.
Yet, God created light on the first day (Genesis 1:3).
So, there was light three days before there was a sun, a moon, or stars.
The Hebrew word for “made” in this verse is `ASAH, and it means “to do or make,
in the broadest sense and widest application (as follows)” (Strong’s
Concordance).
It differs from the Hebrew word BARA', which was translated “created” in Genesis
1:1.
BARA' means “to ‘create out of nothing’” (Vine’s Expository Dictionary), while `ASAH
is speaking of forming or molding something from existing materials (Genesis
2:3).
So, it appears that the materials for the sun, moon, and stars were created in
the beginning, but they were only made and placed in their positions here on the
fourth day of creation.
Psalm 33:6 says that all the hosts of heaven were created by the breath of His
mouth.
That means the sun, which scientists estimate to be about 109 times bigger than
the earth, came out of His mouth.
And our sun is one of the smaller suns.
The temperature of our sun is supposed to be nearly 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit on
its surface.
All of this came out of God’s mouth.
That same mouth gave us God’s Word.
What a treasure!

These 247 names, titles and offices of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost
reveal their character, work, and separate parts in the plan of God. The Father
has the role of headship; the Son has that of creation and redemption; and the
Holy Spirit has the direct power of operation. All three persons of the Trinity
have worked and are still working in perfect harmony in the creation,
redemption, and eternal good of all.
b [image] Hebrew: tselem (HSN-<H6754>), shade, resemblance. Its usage proves it
refers to outward form, not to attributes (Gen. 1:26-27; 5:3; 9:6; Ex. 20:4;
Lev. 26:1; Ps. 73:20; 106:19; Isa. 40:19-20; 44:9-17; 45:20; 48:5; Jer. 10:14;
51:17; cp. Rom. 1:20; 1Cor. 11:7; Jas. 3:9).
c [likeness] Hebrew: demuwth (HSN-<H1823>), resemblance, model, shape; it refers
to outward form as proved by usage (Gen. 1:26; 5:1,3; Isa. 40:18; Ezek.
1:5,10,13,16,22,26,28; 8:2; 10:1,10,21,22).
d [dominion] Man's dominion included the sun, moon and stars (Ps. 8). In the
final restoration man will again have such rulership (1Cor. 15:24-28; Eph. 1:10;
Heb. 2:7-9).

Notes For Verse 27
a [created man] The beasts and man were brought into being in God's third
creative act (Gen. 1:24-28; cp. Gen. 1:1,2).
Their bodies were formed but their life was created.
By divine council (Gen. 1:26-28), God created man in His own image (Gen. 1:27).
Man was a work of God, not of molecules and monkeys.
c [in the image of God] In the image of God -- 'Elohiym (HSN-<H430>) (plural),
Gods.
The whole structure of the sentence involves unity joined with plurality (see
Gen. 3:22 and The Trinity).
d [male and female created he them] Gen. 5:2; Mt. 19:4.
Other creatures were also made male and female.
This account of the creation states that
male and female were both created on the sixth day. The account given in Genesis
2 might imply that a period of time longer than a day passed between the
creation of Adam and Eve, but this verse would exclude that. Suffice it to say
that Scripture doesn’t contradict itself. Moses (the author of Genesis) wouldn’t
have contradicted himself. Genesis 1 presents a broad view of creation, and
Genesis 2 focuses on the creation of man, the animals, and Eve.
It’s possible that just as the earth and the seas already had everything in them
it took to create the creatures and vegetation that came out of them, likewise,
Adam may have had female in him, but Eve wasn’t separated from him until later,
as recorded in Genesis 2:18-23.
Is it possible that the Lord created male and female both in Adam in one day and
then separated them into two people later on as detailed in Genesis 2?
Notice that the Hebrew word BARA' was used in this verse (translated “created”),
and the word `ASAH was used in Genesis 1:26 to speak of God making man (see my
note on these Hebrew words at Genesis 1:16). It’s appropriate to say that man
was both made and created. His body was formed from the dust of the earth
(Genesis 2:7), and his spirit was created in the likeness of God.
So, the word BARA', which means “to ‘create out of nothing’” (Vine’s Expository
Dictionary), was used in Genesis 1:1 when God created everything. But it wasn’t
used again until this verse. That’s because God created all the substance for
everything in Genesis 1:1. Then He made, or formed, everything from that
substance into the sun, moon, stars, plants, animals, and even man’s body. But
He created (BARA' — created from nothing) a spirit in man.
